(사)한국화장실문화협회는 5월14일치 보도자료에서 “화장실문화시민연대와 (사)한국화장실문화협회는 지난 5월9일 서울시 서대문경찰서와 함께 『화장실 내에서의 불법촬영은 중대한 범죄행위』  캠페인을 서울교통공사 서울시 충정로역 등에서 함께했다”고 알렸다.

함께 캠페인을 주관한 표혜령 (화장실문화시민연대, 화장실문화협회) 대표는 이 행사와 관련 “서울시 서대문 경찰서와 7년 전부터 MOU를 맺고 화장실 내의 불법 촬영이 없는 사회를 만들기 위한 캠페인을 지속적으로 함께하면서 정부나 각 기관들이  나름대로의  노력을 하고 있다”고 강조하고 “매일매일 새로워지는 몰래카메라의 기술에다 가격 또한 누구나 손쉽게 구입할 수 있는 현실에 불법촬영을 없애기 위해선 나도 우리 가족도 피해를 당할 수도 있다는 마음가짐으로 우리 모두가 불법촬영에 대한 감시자가 되어 달라”는 말을 덧붙였다.
