▲ 한국화장실문화협회, 제27회 공중위생시설 우수관리인 시상식 개최

한국화장실문화협회는 지난 25일 서울시청 별관 후생동 대강당에서 '제27회 전국 공중위생시설 우수관리인 시상식'을 개최했다고 26일 밝혔다.

이번 시상식에서는 전국 공중위생시설의 위생환경 개선과 화장실 문화 발전에 기여한 우수관리인들이 수상의 영예를 안았다. 최우수관리인 5명에게는 행정안전부 장관상이 수여됐으며, 서울특별시장상은 우수관리인 2명에게 전달됐다.

특별공로상은 자원 절약과 탄소중립 실천에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 배우 전원주 씨가 수상했다.

행사에는 행정안전부 김민재 차관, 한국화장실문화협회 표혜령 회장을 비롯해 방송인 크리스티나와 배우 전원주 등이 참석했다. 

소리꾼 이신예의 축하공연을 시작으로 김민재 차관의 격려사, 표혜령 회장의 인사말, 크리스티나의 축하 인사, 배우 전원주의 축가가 이어졌다.

이어 한국철도공사, 한국도로공사, 서울교통공사, 한국공항공사, 국립공원과 전국 지방자치단체 등 17개 기관이 추천한 우수관리인 174명에게 한국화장실문화협회장 표창이 수여됐다.

김민재 행안부 차관은 격려사를 통해 "대한민국 화장실 문화를 세계적인 수준으로 끌어올린 주역인 우수관리인들의 노고에 감사드린다"고 말했다.

표혜령 협회장은 "전국 곳곳에서 화장실을 소중한 공간으로 여기며 묵묵히 관리해 온 관리인 여러분께 감사와 위로의 말씀을 전한다"고 밝혔다.

방송인 크리스티나는 "대한민국 화장실이 세계적인 수준을 유지할 수 있는 것은 관리인 여러분 덕분"이라며 축하의 뜻을 전했다.

시상식에서는 여성 수상자들에게 꽃 화관을, 남성 수상자들에게는 꽃다발과 함께 표창장 및 시상품을 전달했다.

행정안전부 장관상을 수상한 서울역 코레일테크 김미경 관리인은 "뜻깊은 상에 걸맞게 아름답고 행복한 화장실 환경 조성을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다"고 수상 소감을 밝혔다.

Korea Toilet Culture Association Holds 27th Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Public Sanitation Facility Managers

The Korea Toilet Culture Association announced on the 26th that it held the "27th National Awards Ceremony for Outstanding Public Sanitation Facility Managers" on the 25th at the Grand Auditorium of the Welfare Building, Annex of Seoul City Hall.

At this ceremony, outstanding managers who contributed to improving the sanitary environment of public sanitation facilities nationwide and to the development of toilet culture were honored with awards. The Minister of the Interior and Safety Award was presented to five top managers, while the Mayor of Seoul Award was presented to two outstanding managers.

Actress Jeon Won-ju received the Special Achievement Award in recognition of her contributions to resource conservation and the practice of carbon neutrality.

The event was attended by Vice Minister of the Interior and Safety Kim Min-jae, President of the Korea Toilet Culture Association Pyo Hye-ryeong, as well as broadcaster Christina and actress Jeon Won-ju. The event began with a celebratory performance by traditional Korean singer Lee Shin-ye, followed by words of encouragement from Vice Minister Kim Min-jae, greetings from President Pyo Hye-ryeong, congratulatory remarks from Christina, and a celebratory song by actress Jeon Won-ju.

At the awards ceremony, flower crowns were presented to female recipients, while male recipients received bouquets along with certificates of commendation and prizes. Kim Mi-kyung, a manager at KORAIL Tech Seoul Station who received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award, stated in her acceptance speech, "I will strive even harder to create a beautiful and happy restroom environment befitting this meaningful award."
